Today was meal planning day as I shop tomorrow.
I find it less stressful when I get home if I know what dinner is going to be.
There are easy meals like hambugers and carrots to crock pot meals for the super busy days.

Elizabeth, this is a wonderful idea. We have a free printable menu planner in our Household Notebook on the main page.

I recently started menu planning. I don't know what I was thinking before. It makes life so much easier to not have to think about what dinner will be. Plus shopping is so much easier and we waste much less.

Menu planing also got easier for me when my sister told me about SUPER COOK on the web. When I have a week of what the heck can I make I go there. You let them know what you have on hand and they let you know what you could make....it gets the brain a recharge with a new idea or two.

My husband and I love the meal plan. We always sit down on Monday and Tuesday evenings to get it done (DH shops on Wednesdays). We have a special little magnetic notepad that we keep on the fridge door so we know what meat to thaw from the freezer or if it is a crockpot day, we know what to prep so that it gets plugged in on time, etc.
