Did you see the ad? I thought it was well done and not nearly as controverial as so many “women’s groups” had claimed. I am so glad that Focus on the Family ran the ad and encouraged people to get the whole Tim Tebow story on their website.

How Deep the Father’s Love for Us

Church was canceled this morning because of the foot of snow on the ground. So… I have spent the morning watching 3ABN. New Perceptions from Andrews University – Pioneer Memorial Church came on a bit ago and the choir sang this song. I love this song!

Condensed Soups from White Bean Flour

I thought this was a fabulous idea. You can read the whole article over at Food Storage Made Easy.

Since I am a vegetarian, I would just substitute the chicken boullion with vegetarian chicken seasoning to taste.

The recipe is:

• Grind: 4 T of any white bean (lima, navy, etc.) to make 5 T bean flour
• Combine: 5 T bean flour, 1 ¾ c. water , 4 t chicken bouillon into a saucepan
• Cook: On stovetop at medium temperature until thick and delicious (whisk frequently).

It is so easy to become complacent. I was out in the sunshine yesterday with my girls, looking at my flowers, thinking about my garden, enjoying the sunshine, and it occurred to me that it would be so easy to think that everything will always be okay, that we will always have everything we need or want… But I know that the Bible talks about a time of trouble like the world has never seen before. I believe that the end is near. I believe that Jesus is coming again soon.
